General Terms of Service – Beaumier Group

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Article 1 – Presentation and purpose

These general terms of service (the “GTS”) apply to bookings of Services made between each of the hotels of the Beaumier Group (the “Hotel”) and the Client, and to the use of the booking service available on the website www.beaumier.com (hereinafter the “Website”).

Any order placed by a Client on the Website, by acceptance of a quotation, signature of an agreement or any other written means, constitutes unreserved acceptance of these GTS, provided that they have been brought to the Client’s attention before the contract is entered into, in particular by means of a link to the Website or by their transmission with the quotation or the booking confirmation.

The Website is published and operated by Carte Postale Holdings, which, in the name and on behalf of each Hotel, presents the offers, records the bookings and, where applicable, collects online payments. The hotel services contract is entered into directly between the Client and the chosen Hotel, whose identity is stated before the booking is validated and in the booking confirmation.

The Hotel is the party responsible for performing the Services booked and is liable to the Client for them under the conditions set out in Article 6. Carte Postale Holdings is, for its part, responsible for the operation of the Website, for the proper transmission of the booking to the Hotel and for the information it publishes under its own responsibility; it is not liable for failures attributable to the Hotel, subject to the applicable mandatory statutory provisions.

Each Hotel may set Specific Conditions, in particular regarding arrival and departure times, the guarantee and cancellation policy, the hosting of children and pets, the facilities and services available (spa, swimming pool, food and beverage, parking, Internet access), and its house rules. These Specific Conditions appear on the Hotel’s page on the Website, are restated during the booking process and are included in the confirmation sent to the Client.

The Specific Conditions supplement these GTS and prevail over them in the event of any conflict, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.

In these GTS, the terms below, when capitalised, have the following meanings:

“Beneficiary”: any natural or legal person benefiting from the Services of a Hotel.

“Carte Postale Holdings”: CARTE POSTALE HOLDINGS SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with share capital of €36,850,008, whose registered office is at BATIMENT F 37 AVENUE DES MASSETTES 73190 CHALLES-LES-EAUX, France, registered with the Chambéry Trade and Companies Register under number 852 828 128, publisher of the Website.

“GTS”: these general terms of service, together with their appendices.

“Client”: any natural or legal person, consumer or non-professional, booking Services with a Hotel.

“Specific Conditions”: the conditions specific to each Hotel and, where applicable, to the rate or offer selected, brought to the Client’s attention before the booking is validated, including those set out in the quotation, the agreement, the purchase order or any other signed contractual document.

“Contract”: the set of contractual documents binding the Hotel and the Client, comprising these GTS, the signed quotation or agreement and the purchase order.

“Hotel”: each of the hotel establishments operated under the Beaumier brand, whose name, operating company, registered office and registration number appear on its page on the Website and in the booking confirmation; each Hotel is operated by a company that is legally separate from Carte Postale Holdings and from the other Hotels.

“Services”: all the accommodation services and ancillary or optional services described in Article 2, offered by the Hotel and available for booking under the conditions set out herein.

“Website”: the website available at beaumier.com.

Article 2 – Services offered

Each Hotel offers its Clients accommodation services and, where applicable, ancillary services, the nature, content and pricing of which are specified on the booking website, in the booking confirmation sent to the Client, or displayed at the establishment’s reception desk.

The services offered by the Hotel include in particular:

• Accommodation: provision of a room corresponding to the category booked, for the agreed length of stay;

• Food and beverage, where applicable: breakfast, on-site dining, room service, the terms of which (included or at extra cost, opening hours, packages) are specified at the time of booking;

• Ancillary services, subject to the establishment’s availability: parking, laundry, access to the spa/swimming pool/gym, concierge, provision of meeting rooms, left-luggage, Wi-Fi connection;

• Optional paid services, purchased in addition to the room price, the price of which is communicated to the Client before purchase.

• Services provided by partner suppliers (where applicable)

Any overrun of the arrival and departure times communicated by each Hotel may give rise to additional charges under the conditions displayed at reception.

The Hotel reserves the right to adapt, suspend or modify all or part of the ancillary services, in particular for reasons of maintenance, works, force majeure or operational constraints. Where the ancillary service concerned has been booked and paid for by the Client, the Client may obtain, at their option, a refund of its price or an equivalent service, without prejudice to the Client’s statutory rights. The Client will be informed, as far as possible, before arrival or, failing that, as soon as the impediment arises.

Access to the wellness areas (spa, hammam, sauna, swimming pool, gym) and the booking of treatments are governed by the Specific Conditions of the Hotel concerned, which specify in particular the opening hours, minimum age, required attire, access for non-resident guests and the conditions for cancelling treatments.

The treatments offered are for wellness and beauty purposes and have no medical or therapeutic purpose. Before any treatment, the Client informs the practitioner of any particular health condition (including pregnancy, heart or circulatory disorders, allergies, recent treatment or surgery). In light of this information, the Hotel may adapt the treatment, refuse it or make it subject to medical advice; where a booked treatment is not carried out for this reason, its price is refunded.

The Client arrives at the agreed time. A delay attributable to the Client may reduce the length of the treatment, without any reduction in its price. A treatment that is missed or cancelled outside the period provided for in the Specific Conditions may be charged, up to its price.

Minors may only access the wellness areas under the supervision of a responsible adult and within the limits set by the Specific Conditions. The hygiene and safety rules displayed in these areas apply to all users.

Article 3 – Ordering and client account

The Client may make a booking through the following channels: the Website, partner booking platforms, telephone, email, or directly at reception. The Client selects the desired Service(s) (room type, dates of stay, options) and checks their content and total price before validating.

3.1 – Booking process

A Service is booked by the Client in the following steps:

1. Search: the Client enters their criteria (destination, establishment, dates of stay, number of guests) and, where applicable, selects additional Services;

2. Selection: the Client chooses, from the results displayed, the establishment and the Service(s) matching their search;

3. Offer details: the features of the selected Service are presented to the Client (room category, facilities, length of stay, available options, total price including all taxes, Specific Conditions applicable to the chosen rate, guarantee policy, cancellation conditions, arrival and departure times);

4. Summary and contact details: the Client checks the order summary (main features, total amount) and enters their contact details, either by logging into an existing account or by completing the mandatory fields;

5. Finalisation: the Client enters their payment details in the case of prepayment or a booking guarantee, then reads and accepts these GTS and the Specific Conditions applicable to the booking, before validating;

6. Registration: the booking is recorded by the Hotel;

7. Confirmation: a confirmation email is sent to the Client, summarising the Service(s) booked, the price, the Specific Conditions accepted, the booking date and the establishment’s contact details for any complaint.

3.2 – Formation of the order

The booking is deemed to be finally made as soon as the Client validates, as the case may be, the online payment (prepaid booking) or the confirmation of the booking (guaranteed booking, payable on site).

3.3 – Verification before validation

Before finally validating the order, the Client may check the details of the booking and its total price, and correct any input errors by returning to the previous steps of the process.

3.4 – Booking on behalf of a third party

The Client may make a booking in the name of one or more Beneficiaries.

3.5 – Booking via partner platforms

Where the booking is made through a third-party platform (online booking site, travel agency), the contract between the Client and that platform is formed in accordance with that platform’s own general terms and conditions. These GTS apply to the Services provided by the Hotel from the Client’s arrival.

3.6 – Online check-in

Where the Hotel offers it, the Client may complete the arrival formalities online before the stay, via the link sent by email or from their personal account. This service is optional and free of charge.

The Client confirms or completes their contact details, expected arrival time and, where applicable, the details of the bank card intended to guarantee the stay. Where the Client is a foreign national, the Client agrees that the information required to complete the individual police registration form provided for by the regulations may be pre-filled from the data provided. The Client guarantees the accuracy of the information provided.

Online check-in does not exempt the Client from presenting a valid identity document on arrival and, where required, from checking and signing the individual police registration form. Failing this, the Hotel may refuse to hand over the room.

Online check-in does not constitute a commitment to early arrival: the room is made available from the time provided for in the Specific Conditions, unless otherwise agreed by the Hotel. The data collected is processed under the conditions set out in Article 8.

Article 4 – Price and payment

4.1 – Price

The price of each Service is displayed during the booking process and restated in the confirmation. For accommodation, it is expressed per room and depends on the number of occupants and the dates selected.

Upon confirmation of the booking, the total price is communicated to the Client inclusive of all taxes, in the establishment’s currency, and becomes firm once the booking is made; before that, the price displayed is only guaranteed for the period indicated during the booking process.

Services not expressly included in the selected offer, such as meals or half-board and full-board packages, are added to the price displayed, unless otherwise indicated.

The tourist tax, the amount of which is indicated before booking, is paid to the Hotel during the stay, unless it has been paid with the online prepayment.

Prices take into account the VAT in force on the booking date; any change in the applicable rate, or any new statutory or regulatory tax, will be passed on in the price only insofar as it legally applies to the Service concerned.

4.2 – Payment

The Client provides their payment details, as the case may be:

• for prepayment of the booking before the stay; or

• as a guarantee of the booking by bank card.

Bank details are entered in a secure environment (SSL encryption). The card used must be valid on the date of the stay. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a booking in the event of a payment anomaly (invalid card, card stopped, limit reached, input error).

The accepted means of payment (bank cards, bank transfers, other) are specified during the booking process and are subject to change.

An invoice is sent to the Client electronically; a paper version may be issued upon express request to the Hotel.

4.3 – Prepayment

Prepayment means any payment made by the Client at the time of booking. The amount debited corresponds to the total confirmed price, including applicable taxes and the price of the selected options, excluding, where applicable, the tourist tax.

If the prepayment debit is not completed within the usual processing time, the booking is cancelled.

4.4 – Bank guarantee and pre-authorisation

Where the booking is not prepaid, the Hotel may request that the booking be guaranteed by bank card. In this case, the card is not debited at the time of booking; payment for the stay is made directly to the Hotel, on arrival or departure.

On the Client’s arrival, the Hotel may ask the Client’s bank to block on the card an amount corresponding to the price of the stay, plus, where applicable, a fixed amount covering on-site consumption, the amount of which is set by the Specific Conditions according to the length of stay and the number of occupants. This is merely a reservation of funds, which temporarily reduces the card’s available limit without any debit; the funds are released after payment for the stay, or upon cancellation where it occurs in accordance with the rate conditions, within a period that depends on the Client’s bank and may be several business days.

Bank card data is processed by the payment service provider Adyen in accordance with applicable security standards and, being encrypted, is not fully accessible to the Hotel.

4.5 – No-show

Where the Client does not arrive at the Hotel on the first day of the stay without having cancelled in accordance with the conditions of their rate, the room is put back on sale and the following rules apply:

• For a non-cancellable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable booking: the price paid is retained by the Hotel, the sums paid constituting payment of the price and not a deposit (arrhes);

• if the rate booked was cancellable and guaranteed by bank card: the Hotel debits the amount, including all taxes, of the first night booked. The following nights are cancelled free of charge, without any compensation or further refund for the Client.

Article 5 – Cancellation, postponement and modification

5.1 – No right of withdrawal

The Client is informed that accommodation services, which must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period, are excluded from the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, in accordance with the exclusion provided for in Article L. 221-28, 12° of the same code.

5.2 – Applicable Specific Conditions

The conditions under which a booking may be cancelled or modified (deadlines, fees, refunds) depend on the rate selected and are set out in the Specific Conditions communicated to the Client before the booking is validated.

Prepaid bookings cannot be cancelled or modified; the sums paid are non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable Specific Conditions.

5.3 – Practical arrangements

Where the Specific Conditions so permit:

• cancellation is made via the link in the booking confirmation email, or via the online booking tool using the email address used for the booking and the booking number, or by contacting the Hotel;

• any request for modification is sent to the Hotel, using the contact details given in the booking confirmation.

5.4 – Interruption of the stay by the Client

A Client who leaves the Hotel before the scheduled departure date, on their own initiative, remains liable for the agreed price; sums prepaid for unused nights are not refunded, unless more favourable Specific Conditions apply.

5.5 – Late departure

Unless otherwise provided in the Specific Conditions, the Client must vacate the room before the departure time indicated by the Hotel. Failing this, and unless the Hotel has given prior agreement, a supplement may be charged according to the scale displayed at reception and communicated at the time of booking.

5.6 – Manifestly derisory price

The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any order placed at a price that is manifestly derisory in relation to the Service offered, under the conditions recognised by applicable law.

Article 6 – Liability

6.1 – Client’s commitments and liability

The Client chooses the Services booked and assesses their suitability for their needs in light of the information provided by the Hotel before booking, the accuracy of which is the Hotel’s responsibility.

The Client guarantees the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking; the consequences of inaccurate or fraudulent information cannot be attributed to the Hotel. The Client is responsible for the use of their account and for bookings made through it, for themselves or for third parties, unless they establish fraudulent use not resulting from any fault or negligence on their part; the Client reports any suspicious use to Carte Postale Holdings without delay.

The Client uses the Services in accordance with the regulations and these GTS. The Client compensates for any damage that their breach causes to the Hotel, to Carte Postale Holdings or to third parties, and indemnifies them against any claims brought against them as a result.

Validation of the booking obliges the Client to pay its price and to comply with the Specific Conditions. The Client further observes the following rules:

• a booking whose payment proves to be irregular, incomplete or fraudulent due to the Client is cancelled at the Client’s expense, the Hotel retaining the right to take action against the Client;

• the Client ensures that the persons they receive at the Hotel do not disrupt its operation;

• the consumption, in the rooms and common areas, of food or drinks brought from outside is subject to the Hotel’s approval;

• the establishments are entirely non-smoking;

• the Client refrains from any behaviour likely to disturb the peace of other guests or to endanger persons or property;

• any behaviour contrary to public decency, public order, or the establishment’s house rules entitles the management to ask the Client to leave the premises, without compensation; sums already paid are retained by the Hotel up to the value of the Services consumed and the loss suffered by the Hotel, with the balance refunded to the Client; if no payment has yet been made, the Client must pay the price of the Services consumed before leaving the premises;

• a minor is only accommodated when accompanied by an adult; the Hotel may request an identity document and, where the adult does not hold parental authority, written authorisation from the parents;

• Internet access provided by the Hotel must not be used to download, distribute or share content protected by copyright or related rights without the consent of the rights holders; the Client complies with the network terms of use communicated to them.

The Client is liable for all damage caused by themselves and/or their guests within the establishment, and bears all resulting costs. The Hotel reserves the right to intervene and take any appropriate measures against the Client in the event of a breach.

6.2 – Hotel’s commitments and liability

The Hotel undertakes to provide the Services booked in compliance with these GTS, with the care expected of a professional hotelier, and to deal as quickly as possible with any malfunction reported to it. In accordance with Article L. 221-15 of the French Consumer Code, the Hotel is automatically liable to the consumer Client for the proper performance of Services booked remotely, unless it can prove that the non-performance or improper performance is attributable to the Client, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party to the contract, or to force majeure.

Certain Services or facilities may be temporarily unavailable, in particular for technical or maintenance operations; the Hotel informs the Client as soon as possible, without prejudice to the Client’s statutory rights.

The respective roles of Carte Postale Holdings and the Hotel are set out in Article 1.

6.3 – Relocation

If the Hotel is unable to provide the room booked, the Hotel offers the Client accommodation of an equivalent or higher category in a nearby establishment and covers the transport costs and any price difference, without prejudice to the Client’s statutory rights. If the Client does not accept, the sums paid are refunded in full.

6.4 – Force majeure

A party prevented from performing its obligations by a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code shall not be held liable. If the impediment is temporary, performance is suspended, unless the resulting delay justifies termination of the contract. If the impediment is permanent, the contract is automatically terminated and the sums paid for Services not performed are refunded.

Article 7 – Intellectual property

The Website, published by Carte Postale Holdings, its presentation and all its components (domain name, trademarks, logos, signs, designs, illustrations, photographs, texts, graphics and other files) are protected by the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code. These components are the property of Carte Postale Holdings or of the Hotels, or are used under licence.

No component of the Website may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, distorted, transmitted or distributed, in whole or in part, in any medium whatsoever, without the prior written authorisation of Carte Postale Holdings, except for strictly personal, private and non-commercial use, without modification of the components concerned.

Article 8 – Personal data

8.1 – Processing of Client data

In connection with the use of the Website and the making of a booking, Carte Postale Holdings and the Hotel concerned, as data controllers, process personal data under the conditions described in the Beaumier Group Privacy Policy, available at https://www.beaumier.com/en/privacy-policy/ (the “Privacy Policy”).

The Privacy Policy specifies in particular the purposes and legal bases of the processing, the role of each controller and the data retention periods.

The Client is informed, on each data collection form, whether the information requested is mandatory or optional. If information identified as mandatory is not provided, the Hotel may be unable to record the booking or to handle any complaint.

8.2 – Recipients of the data

The information collected at the time of booking is intended for Carte Postale Holdings, the Hotel concerned, their processors (in particular for online payment) and, where applicable, their partner companies, under the conditions specified in the Privacy Policy, for the purposes of performing the booking or taking pre-contractual steps. Any transfer of this data outside the European Economic Area is subject to the appropriate safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.

8.3 – Client’s rights

The Client may at any time exercise the rights available under the applicable personal data protection regulations (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, instructions regarding the handling of data after death), under the conditions specified in the Privacy Policy, by writing to privacy@beaumier.com or by post to the Beaumier Group Data Protection Officer, at the address given in the Privacy Policy. The Client may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

8.4 – Direct marketing

In accordance with Article L. 223-1 of the French Consumer Code, a Client who does not wish to receive telephone marketing may register free of charge on the telephone marketing opt-out list (Bloctel), available at www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

Article 9 – Complaints, mediation

For any request relating to a booking (modification, cancellation, special request), the Client contacts the Hotel’s reservations team directly, whose contact details appear in the booking confirmation.

For any difficulty relating to the operation of the Website, the Client contacts Carte Postale Holdings at contact@beaumier.com.

It is recommended that any incident be reported as soon as possible in order to facilitate its verification, although this timeframe does not affect the Client’s rights. In the event of a difficulty relating to the performance of the stay, the Client sends a complaint to the Hotel, whose contact details appear in the booking confirmation, or by post to the contact details given in Article 1, with a view to reaching an amicable solution.

The Hotel acknowledges receipt of the complaint and endeavours to respond within fifteen (15) business days.

Failing an amicable agreement, any consumer Client may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which the Hotel belongs, after having first sent a written complaint to the Hotel and failing a satisfactory response within two (2) months:
Avenir Conso – 197 boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris, France.
The Client has one (1) year from the date of their written complaint to refer the matter to the mediator.

Article 10 – Governing law

These GTS are governed by French law, without prejudice, for a consumer Client residing in another State, to the more favourable mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.

Article 11 – Amendment of the GTS

Carte Postale Holdings, acting on behalf of the Hotels, may amend these GTS at any time, in particular to take account of any legal, regulatory, case-law, technical or commercial developments.

The GTS applicable to an order are those in force on the date it is validated by the Client; no subsequent amendment may be relied upon against the Client for orders already concluded. The date of the last update appears at the top of these GTS; the Client is invited to keep a copy, by downloading or printing it.

Article 12 – Miscellaneous

Severability. If any provision of these GTS is declared null and void or unenforceable, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No waiver. The Hotel’s failure to invoke a breach by the Client shall not constitute a waiver of its right to invoke it subsequently.

Agreement on evidence. The Hotel and the Client agree that emails, acceptances of quotations and, where applicable, connection logs constitute valid evidence of their exchanges and commitments.

Assignment. The Client may not assign the Contract without the written consent of the Hotel. Subject to the option of booking on behalf of a third party provided for in Article 3.4, the booking is personal to the named guest.
